Lydia Foy and TENI at the European Diversity Awards
Last night Dr Lydia Foy and Dr Orlaith O'Sullivan attended the European Diversity Awards in London.
Dr Foy attended as a nominee for Campaigner of the Year 2013. The award ceremony was held in the Natural History Museum, London. It began with a reception, and was followed by a gala dinner and the awards ceremony.
During the evening, Lydia and Orlaith had the opportunity to speak to many attendees about Ireland's legislative programme, urging our European allies to keep the spotlight on Ireland and Gender Recognition Legislation. Michael Farrell, Senior Solicitor at FLAC, was also invited but was unfortunately unable to attend. His presence was missed!
