TENI News Special Edition: Still we wait.
It was March 1993: Shaggy was Number One, and Lydia Foy requested a new birth cert. She's still waiting.
In this issue, read a special message from our Director on the anniversary of the Government's withdrawal of its appeal in the Lydia Foy case. The committee formed by the Government to provide recommendations for trans legislation has still not reported back. TENI joins FLAC in calling on the Minister for Social Protection to instruct the committee to report immediately so that legislation can be introduced without further delay.
