World Premier of the Film 'In The Turn'

SAIL (Support, Acceptance, Information, Learning) are co-hosting the World premier of the film 'In The Turn' as part of the Outburst Arts Festival in Belfast. The film will be introduced by its Director, Erica Tremblay, and followed by 'Time for T', a discussion with local activists on the emergence of a vibrant Trans* sector in Northern Ireland.

Gender Recognition Lobbying Workshop

TENI will be running a gender recognition lobbying workshop for trans people and allies. This will be interactive and practical and equip participants with the tools they need to lobby elected representatives on gender recogntion.

The Government has committed to introducing gender recognition legislation by the end of the year and has made the "firm intention" to enact legislation in 2015. TENI would like to invite you to an information evening to discuss the progress of the Bill, challenges in the legislation and next steps. We are looking for feedback from a wide range of civil society groups and individuals to ensure that Ireland introduces inclusive and human rights based legislation.
