LGBT Parents in Ireland Conference

The event is taking place in The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin 2, between 11am – 4pm. A range of local and international experts will address the conference along with Mr Alan Shatter, T.D., Minister for Justice, Equality and Defense.

Cork Trans Peer Group Meeting

The group is for trans* people and those questioning their gender identity to meet in an informal social setting. Group members may attend in whatever attire they deem appropriate and if they require they can change in-house.

If you are not currently a TENI member you must become one to participate in the General Assembly. You can either do this online or when you register at the General Assembly. To become a member you need to complete the membership form and pay the annual fee (sliding scale of either 10 OR 1 Euros).

Should a member wish to make a proposal for consideration at the General Assembly it needs to be submitted in writing to either the Chair (sara@teni.ie) or Secretary (ben@teni.ie) 14 days in advance of the General Assembly.

Collating results from the largest study of the mental health and wellbeing of trans people ever carried out in Ireland, Speaking from the Margins makes a significant contribution on the current situation in Ireland.

The survey offers us crucial Information on key health indicators of trans people in Ireland, assesses healthcare needs and addresses health issues particular to that group.

Dublin Trans Day of Remembrance Ceremony

This year's theme is 'It's Going To Be A Bright Future'. We will commemorate the lives injured and lost due to transphobia through candle lighting, speeches and songs. We will also look forward to a bright new future and the ways in which we can ensure better lives for trans people in Ireland.

The event is free and everyone is welcome.
