|
24 MAR 2012
|
AMNESTY IRELAND, 48 FLEET STREET, TEMPLE BAR, DUBLIN
TENI and Amnesty International Ireland are teaming up to deliver a full day 'Action for Recognition' Lobbying Training.

The day will train activists in the practical skills needed to lobby on transgender awareness and gender recognition legislation.
The training is open to trans people and allies. You don't need to know anything about Recognition: TENI will provide an overview of the proposed legislation and key issues. And you don't need to have any experience in Lobbying! Amnesty International Ireland will take us through simple, practical steps to help us be heard.
Saturday 24th March
9.30-5.00pm
Sean MacBride House
48 Fleet Street
Dublin 2
The day is offered free of charge and lunch will be provided.
If you would like to attend but live outside of Dublin we can help with travel costs. Please contact us before 20th March.
Strengthen your skills and have some fun! You will leave with a practical overview of Recognition and a basic toolkit to lobbying.
It's an important moment for trans rights in Ireland. Join us!
